Over Nov. and Dec. I did a lot of TV watching on Netflix. Here is what I watched.
TV SHOWS
Gilmore Girls – OMG I loved this show when it came out on TV. I never did finish watching all the seasons. It was great to watch all seven seasons and finally see what happened. Binged watched.
Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life – OMG I’m so glad Netflix did this TV series. It starts 10 years after the TV Show Gilmore Girls. I had so many happy feels. I loved that they got the original cast to come back. I cried a lot too; especially in the last 2 episodes. Their are only 4 episodes in season 1 for the show. I’m hoping we get another season; because the bombshell dropped in the last episode was WOW. Loved it!
Sherlock – LOVED it!! I binged watched Sherlock. I couldn’t get enough. I wish their was more then just 4 seasons. Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman where perfect as Sherlock and Watson.
The Witcher – Now I get why people love this show. I binged watched. I will admit was a bit confused and thought we were present, but the show is showing us past and present. It’s not clear until about the third episode. I can’t wait until the next season is out. Very Good!!
Manhunt: Deadly Games – Crime/Mystery/Thriller. This miniseries tells the story of the FBI’s hunt for the Unabomber in the 1990s. I devoured this series. I couldn’t stop watch once I started. What the media and FBI did to an innocent man and how the truth finally came out, but to much damage was done to Jewell’s name. Really good.
Minhunter – Crime/Mystery. Only 2 seasons so far. It show how the BAU (Behavioral Annualizes Unit) was started in the FBI.
Manhunt: Unabomber – It’s only 9 episodes long, but the are pretty intense. Great acting from everyone.
The Queen’s Gambit – Drama/Based on a Book. It’s as good as every says. Only 7 episodes, but boy do they pack a punch. And chess has never looked so good before.
MOVIES
Extraction – Action/Thriller. This movie is full of action and a lot of violence. It has a mix of English and Indian language, so their are subtitles to read. The acting is great, but the plot not so much. It’s not a movie I’m going to watch again.
Bright – Action/Fantasy. I wasn’t sure what to expect. I felt like I was watching a movie more about race and the hatred/prejudiced that goes with it. Also cops aren’t liked in this fantasy world. It was just ok. A one time watch.
Over The Moon – Family/Musical. It was cute!
How you watched these shows? What did you think? Any TV or Movie recommendations? I’d love to hear from you!

I loved Gilmore Girls when it was on, but I didn’t love A Year In the Life as much—maybe I should have rewatched the series first? I’ve been watching lots of Netflix lately too!

I liked the Year in the Life GG stuff, but the last episode was a let down. I also really loved Sherlock, more would have been great. I just binged The Hardy Boys on Hulu and now we have started Eureka on Prime.

I loved Queen’s Gambit! I haven’t really been watching much else and now that I’ve signed up for Discovery Plus I think I am going to be totally immersed in all the shows on there.

I haven’t watched any of these shows! Our family is currently watching Supernatural. My daughter & I started it a few years ago, but we stopped at season 6. Now the whole family is into it.
If you like Mindhunter, you should watch Criminal Minds!

I never finished The Gillmore Girls and also thought to go back. Glad it and the sequel turned out great. Adore Sherlock! I’ve heard great things about Witcher. Interesting about them doing a series on the Unabomber.

Ya the Unabomber and Deadly Games where interesting to watch. Sherlock is so much fun. I highly recommend that one. I wasn’t sure about The Witcher, but I had heard a lot of great things about it. I got sucked in. I’m glad I got to finish the Gilmore Girls. I loved that show when it came out and still do. It’s great to know what happened. Thank’s for visiting.
