In February I tried some new series and got caught up on series’s I started.
What I read in Feb. from Kindle Unlimited
Icehome – There is something about this series that keeps me coming back for me. I feel in love with Ice Planet Barbarians and then the author did a spin-off on the same plant with Icehome and new human arrivals. It’s not in-depth reading. What I like is that we get both leads POV’s, a little drama, and a HEA. Plus the aliens are all sexy.
Eon Warriors – Oh how I love this series. Anna Hackett is one of my favorite sci-fi romance authors to read. She adds adventure and action to her story that pull me in and keep me coming back. I love the aliens and how the romance grows. I’ve read a few of the books too.
Shadow Guild: Wolf Queen – This is a new to me series. It’s Urban Fantasy. It’s got fun characters. The overall ARC will continue in the series, but one mystery gets solved in the first book. Looking forward to reading on.
Monsters Love Curvy Girls – This is a new to me series and author. This series is was eh! The writing is not great and a bit disjointed, but for some reason I keep coming back. I’m not overly impressed, but each book had something that I liked. They are quick quirky sci-fi romance reads.
Leveling Up – New to me series. Oh my what a fun read the first book in this series is. It features an over 40 heroine. I loved all the quirky characters and the dialogue was hilarious. I laughed a lot! Now there will be a romance, but it’s in the background and hasn’t bloomed yet, but you can tell somethings coming.
Witches of Keating Hollow – Just a sweet series to read. The town is a lot of fun. The people are sweet. The romances are adorable. Just a little drama to keep things interesting. I enjoying coming back to Keating Hollow. A light fun read.
Caught Between Two Blue Aliens – This was not for me. They story fell short and the conflict could have been resolved quicker with a conversation. Unnecessary stress plus I didn’t care for our lead heroine. I like Celia Kyle’s writing and work, but with Michele Mills in the mix these two didn’t mesh.

Looks like you found some fun ones and I like easy-light reading like this. I’ve read a couple cozy mysteries and started the Darynda Jones Betwixt series.

I needed light and easy to start the new year. My reading is still up and down, but I’ve been enjoying trying new to me author/series in KU. Looking forward to see what you think of the Betwixt series. Thank’s for visiting!
