Randomness: What I’m Watching On Disney+ & Amazon Prime

I’ve been streaming a lot of different shows and movies these past few months.
Check out what I’ve been watching!

 

DISNEY+

MOVIES

Eternals – BIG MARVELS FAN!! This movie wasn’t as great as I was expecting. Lots of going back in time and then jumping to today. It took away from the pace of the movie. I understand showcase each character and their past doing the backstory, but it just slowed things down. Not my favorite.

 

The Rise of Skywalker – Finally watched the last Star Wars movie. I wasn’t impressed. I was Disappointed. I also didn’t see the need for a kiss scene at the end. I still feel the the fist 3 original Star Wars movies are the best. Love watching them over and over.

 

TV SHOWS

Hawkeye – Umm it’s time for Hawkeye to retire. I thought the girl was going to be his daughter, but it turns out to be a new character. Didn’t feel it added to the Marvel storyline.

 

The Book of Boba Fett – It starts out featuring Boba Fett, but the last 2 1/2 episodes focus on The Mandalorian and baby Yoda or whatever his name is. It was eh!

 

 

AMAZON PRIME

MOVIES

Cruella – What an amazing movie. The costume design is extraordinary. I LOVED it!!!

 

TV SHOWS

The Big Bang Theory – Rewatching. I LOVE this show. It’s so much fun and so funny.

 

Reacher – Dang what a great first season. I bing watched. Can’t wait for more. It’s so so good.

  1. I agree with you on Eternals. I think it would have been more successful as a Marvel mini-series on Disney+ – that way each character would get their backstory, then they could all fight.

    I actually loved Hawkeye. It was fun and light, just what I needed. Also tied in Yelana and I’m guess most likely the next “Hawkeye” (so he can retire). I think it’s a big set up for future movies.

    I’m 2 episodes into Reacher and really enjoying so far.

    • I agree with you how they should have done Eternals as a mini-series.. then they could have made a better movie.

      Black Widow is my favorite character in the franchise and Hawkeye is comes in second. I enjoyed the mini series and set up and it is seeing things so he can retire which I feel its time for him. It just wasn’t my favorite thou I still enjoyed.

      Reacher is sooooo good. I hope you continue to enjoy. I want a second season now!!! ^_^

    • I have been having so much trouble with reading these past 2 years… I’m in a big slump and what used to make me happy just isn’t doing it for me. I still have a few series that I can re-read and feel oh so good, but new stuff eh!! So, I’ve been enjoying a lot of TV and trying old and new stuff. If you enjoyed the books you might like the TV series. I haven’t rad the Reacher books, but boy did they do a nice job on the show. I was hooked and binged.

  3. I still need to watch Eternals and Black Widow and Ten Rings. I’m really far behind on the movies. I’m up-to-date on Hawkeye and Boba Fett.

    Something I highly recommend on Disney+, The World According to Jeff Goldblum. Each episode is a different topic that he learns about and talks to experts in his weird Jeff Goldblum way.

    • Only show I haven’t watched for Marvel’s is WandaVision… Might give it a go. I loved Black Widow and the Ten Rings. Was bummed by Eternals as Jen say’s it should have been a mini-tv series so each character got to showcase then make a big movie.
