9/13/22: Do you ever read out of your comfort zone? And if yes, does it work for you?

Yes.  Does it work?  Not always!  I tried this year to read Rejected Mates and those didn’t hit the mark.  I don’t think that’s for me.  I’ve tried reading other genres outside my comfort zone like Historical Romances/Contemporary, but it’s not always been a happy experience.  Some have turned out great, but I think staying in my preferred genres (PNR/UF) works best.

 

9/20/22: For audiobook listeners: what hobby do you enjoy while listening?

I like to walk and listen, site in the garden, or paint.  When I do walk and listen my walks sometimes turn out longer then I expected, but I don’t mind. Outside in the garden it’s just peaceful and relaxing. Painting is relaxing and it’s a great time to listen to an audio. 

 

9/27/22: Do you follow your favourite authors on social media? Do you interact with them?

Yes, I follow my favorite authors.  No, I don’t interact.  I just like to see what they are posting and keep up to date on short stories, giveaways, and new books coming out.

  1. I’m more a shadow follower on social media, but I do love knowing when books are coming out or on sale.

    I enjoy my chore time more now that I can put an audio on.

  3. Oh… what do you paint? I miss water colors, but I haven’t painted in 20 years. I find I don’t have much success reading outside my comfort zone, but my tastes have changed a lot over the years. Something I loved years ago may be outside the zone now – another reason I don’t do a lot of re-reads.

    • I paint adult paint by numbers. I was never very good at the free style painting. I agree our taste do change as the years go by. I know my taste have and something I may have liked I don’t so much anymore. As for re-reads I only have a few series I will listen or read again.
