Welcome To October’s Monthly Wrap-Up

 

October went well.  AYSO soccer continues to be enjoyable for the whole family.  The kid has been playing different positions to see which he likes and does better at. The Boys (Mr. Angel & Kid) went to Auston, TX for the Formula One racing. They made it a week long boys vacation.  I got to have the house to myself and finished my Adult Paint By Number.  Panda missed the boys, but she got some sun soaking in.

The HOHOHO will be starting in Nov. and is hosted by Caffeinated Reviewer. I will be an ELF during this challenge. Come join the fun! More details here.

Update on 2022 CHALLENGES!

  • #COYER FALL: I read/listen to 2 out of my 6 on the list I made.
  • Audiobook Challenge: Listened to 3 audiobooks this month. My goal for 2022 is the 50+ Marathoner. Don’t think I’ll make it this year only listen to 16 so far.
  • Library Love Challenge: I’ve only read/listened to 6 books from my library this year. I’ve been using it more for my kid than me.

  1. Looks like you had a restful week while the guys were away. Panda is cute there in the sun. Nice stack you got read this month. The lizard and naga ones have me curious. Doing good with the COYER challenge. I didn’t do so great with Library Challenge for October, either.

    • I’m enjoying the Prime Mating Agency series on KU. It’s got a verity of aliens. It was a nice quiet peaceful week with the boys gone. Nov is starting off to be busy in RL. Not much free time to read. It always happens around the holidays. Thanks for visiting.

  2. Yea for a week to yourself!! I bet the house was never cleaner (and stayed clean!) Your painting is lovely – will you frame and hang it? Have another planned?

    My October was very busy and fun. My son was home from college for the first time and it was his 19th birthday! I did lot with my friends, including an overnight in Boston for a 50th birthday. I also got some good reading in – I’ll have my update this weekend. Here’s to an amazing November!
