2022 End of Year Challenge Wrap Up

Posted on by

Another year has gone by and it’s time to wrap up my challenges and see how well or not I did.

Goodreads Challenge

My goal for 2022 is 150. I read/listened to 158. Just barely made the challenge this year. You can check out all the books I read/listened too on my Goodreads Reading Challenge page.

COYER Challenge

I participated in COYER Fall for 2022 and did the list. I had 6 books on my list and I read/listened to 3. I meet the challenge by read/listening to half the books on my list. To see my full list go here. I had put Witch Way Home by Danielle Garret on the list, but I had already read it, so I read the next book in the series.

  2. Scorched by Darkness by Felicity Heaton – Bought eBook $2.48
  3. Lucky Witch by Danielle Garrett – Bought eBook  $0.99c

  2. I only made the Goodreads challenge. I set my goal at 100 and went a few over.

    • Ya for giving a challenge a go and making the goal. I’m a bit bummed I didn’t make my goals for the challenges, but I forgot to factor in my changing real life now that my kid is older and doing more. Next year my goals should be doable. Thanks of visiting and sharing.

  3. Nice job getting half your challenges and putting a dent in the other two. Sometimes a lot can change in real life and you just have to go with it.

Next year, I’m mostly picking challenges that focus on my huge TBR pile, but there are some just for fun ones, too.

    • I think my goals for 2023 are doable now that I’ve factored in my real life better since it has changed. I agree that TBR pile is out of controllable especially for me. That’s on of the reasons I love the library I can work on the older stuff on that ever growing TBR. Thanks for visiting and commenting. Always love to chat.

  4. Great job! I have a hard time making or doing reading challenges because I feel pressure and and up getting too anxious or frustrated to complete them. I do participate in the Goodreads reading challenge. My goal was 100 and I read 85. That’s pretty good. I think I’ll set my goal for next year at 75 and see what happens.

I am so glad you enjoy audiobooks. I’ve tried several but I feel that the narrator’s voice affects the way I visualize and process the story in my head and I can’t get invested in the storyline.

Thanks for sharing all your awesome goals and favorites!

    • Audio books aren’t for everyone, but that’s great you gave them a try. Next year 2023 I set my goals a little lower too in the challenges I picked. My real life has changed and I didn’t plan for that in 2022. Thanks for visiting and sharing.

  5. Well as long as you read some good books and had fun, that’s all that matters for challenges. I am shocked that I might be under 100 books for Library Love this year.

    • This year was not a great year on my challenges, but I did read some fun and enjoyable books. I’m going to aim a little lower for 2023 in my numbers and hopeful meet my goals in the challenges I picked. Thanks for visiting!
