Angel’s Monthly Wrap Up ~ Nov. 2022

Welcome To November’s Monthly Wrap-Up

What a fun month.  We had our last regular AYSO game and we played in One AYSO Cup game, but unfortunately we lost both games, so AYSO is all over until next year.

We celebrated the Kids 11th Birthday earlier in the month.  Grandparents were in town and everyone had fun.  Cub Scouts had the Raingutter Regatta.  The kids love it!

For Thanksgiving it was just the three of use.  Everyone else was away or had other guests coming, so we stayed home and I cooked.  Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!  I also decorated the first week in Nov. for Christmas.  Ya, its early, but I love the holiday stuff.  Makes me happy!

I joined Mastodon @angels_gp@romancelandia.club.  I’m not sure what’s going to happen to Twitter, but I grabbed my handle.  You can follow me on either twitter or Mastodon platforms.

If your interested crossposting your twitter feed to Mastodon; Jen @ That’s What I’m Talking About shared this link for the crosspost option. If you’re wanting to see which of your friends from Twitter has a Mastodon account to follow; then give this tool ‘Movetodon‘ a try!

This time of year my reading goes down and I watch more TV.  I also am more busy with family visiting or use visiting them, so not much motivation or free time when the Holidays come around.

What I read/listened too: Grim, To Kill A Fae, Blue Coral, Touched by Fire, Crossroads of Bones, Resting Witch Face, Ms. Frost Solves a Cold Case, & Don’t Hex or Drive (Audio).

Congratulations to all the winners this month!

  1. Wow I love what I read, thanks for the recommendations!

    • Happy to help add to your TBR. Thank you for visiting!

  2. wow, you’re sure busy! more books than me even still

    • Nova, Thanks for visiting!

  3. Fun that the AYSO soccer club has a world cup- hopefully next year. The raingutter regatta does look fun. We had Thanksgiving with a smaller group than usual this year, but it was delicious and a good visit. Love your decorations. I got mine up inside the day after Thanksgiving. Still need to do the outside ones. I’ve got Grim on my TBR list for some point. Nice reading stack you got through this month.

    Have a good December, Angela!

    • Thanks Sophia for visiting and sharing. Thanksgiving was very relaxing just the three of use and we didn’t have a lot of leftovers like we do when we get a Turkey for the family events. It was a nice change of pace. Grim is good. Hope you enjoy. The Regatta is a lot of fun for the kids, but the one they love the most is the Derby, which is race cars in spring. ^_^

  4. Happy birthday to your kiddo! How exciting.

I am now researching how to link my blog directly to Mastodon instead of relying on Twitter to crosspost it. I’ll let you know what I find!

      Thanks for visiting!

  5. You had a busy month and still managed to fit in some great books.

    • Thanks. I’m glad I got a few books in. Things do slow down this time of year in the reading department. Thanks for visiting!
