Welcome to the world of Dragon’s Gap! Dragon’s Gap is a fantasy paranormal romance series featuring dragons and other supernaturals. Each book features a different couple, but the over all ARC, family dynamics, and magical world continues to grow in each installment. I’d recommend reading in order due to these things. The set up is instant mates. The kids featured in the series are adorable and bye some magical means they know who their adoptive parents will be. The series is in Kindle Unlimited.
Reighn & Sage’s Story by L.M. Lacee
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
Reign & Sage’s Story – Book 1
The book has potential with an interesting plot, but the writing is disjointed and it needs work. You would be reading along and then the next paragraph we have a different character’s POV. I had to re-read a few times to make sure what I was reading was what I thought. I hope this improves.
The romance is clean and instant. I never felt the romance. I was more into the storyline of the half-breeds, Goddess, & our lead heroine, Sage, plus the adorable children. Their world is changing now that magic has returned.
I liked it enough even with the awful editing. I’ll be continue the series to see how the overall story ARC progression.

Sharm & Edith’s Story by L.M. Lacee
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
Sharm & Edith’s Story – Book 2
To start the disjointed writing continues, but it is improving.
As for the romance its a clean romance and instant mating, but this one doesn’t go as smoothly. We have a lot of drama and some heartache. It felt like a soap opera. I did enjoy our couple; Sharm & Edith and they did work out the issues.
A lot of stuff happens in this story. We get a lot of new and interesting gifts popping up. We get a few different storylines too.
I do want to say I was a bit disappointed by the author not finishing the plot line on the bad farie and the Lords parent’s. I do hope we get closer on both of these as the series continues.

Love’s Catalyst by L.M. Lacee
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
Love’s Catalyst – Prequel Novella #0.5
This was a freebie and its also in KU. Its best read between books Two and Three even though it’s listed as the prequel.
Lars Axton was adopted at age 5 into the Kingsley family. He’s family in every way, but blood. His birth family is old and they try to capitalize on his position to the Dragon Lord.
Clair Nash comes from a family of thieves, but she wants better. She leaves her family and ends up in Dragon’s Gap; where she makes friends and helps rescue women and children in the outside world.
Her life changes when she adopts her daughter, Kammy. She doesn’t know how to be a mom. Then add in a mate. Lars will have to be patient.
It was a nice short story. Kammy is adorable. It also teases an epilogue of Ella and Keeper.

Storm and Charlie’s Story by L.M. Lacee
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
Storm & Charlie’s Story – Book 3
The writing is still disjointed at times and I get confused when switching POV’s. But, it’s getting better or maybe I’m just used to the writing style now.
A lot of interesting things happen in this installment. The overall ARC is developing and continuing to grow.
I enjoyed our couple Storm and Charlie. Storm is sweet, but you don’t learn much about him. The story is more bout Charlie. As you know by now the romance is instant. I don’t feel the romance, but that’s not why I read the books. What keeps me coming back is the family love, storyline, & cool unique characters.
The kids are just adorable and I really enjoy the unique gifts the characters have.

Ash & Olinda’s Story by L.M. Lacee
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
Ash & Olinda’s Story – Book 4
To start the writing is still a little choppy, but I’m used to it now. I don’t find it as difficult to distinguish between the POV‘s and when a whole bunch of characters are together in a room.
The romance as always is clean and instant. The couple know they are mates and love will come later. I don’t feel the love in this series, but that’s not why I continue to read the books. I keep coming back; because of the unique supernatural characters, family dynamics, and the budding world.
This installment gives use a unique supernatural, one considered a myth, even to all the other supernaturals.
Theirs a little drama, suspense, and heart in Ash & Olinda’s story.

Ace & Harper’s Story by L.M. Lacee
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
Ace & Harper’s Story – Book 5
Ace has spent months away fighting. It’s time for him to return home to his extended family and friends.
Harper came to Dragon’s Gap to find her sister and heal old wounds. She comes with a lot of baggage. Her friend is something mystical. Her long dead sister is not dead. And theirs more, but why spoil the surprise’s.
I really enjoy the family dynamics and the ever growing family and friendships. I like the ever growing supernatural population and mixtures of supernaturals as well as their unique gifts.
Theirs evil and darkness. Theirs humor and sisterly love. And, theirs a touch of romance.

Love’s Impulse by L.M. Lacee
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
Love’s Impulse – Novella #5.5
This one needs to be read after Ace & Harper’s story. It takes place during a time frame at the end in their story.
The novella moves the overall ARC storyline along, adds a new element, and someone wants a war.
This one features Fin and June. They meet when Fin comes home to see his niece Ella, whom he thought dead. During that time he see’s June. These two have been courting, but Fin’s not moving fast enough for our June.
Action, adventure, saving babies, & more.

Thorn & Ciana’s Story by L.M. Lacee
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
Thorn & Ciana’s Story – Book 6
Thorn Moonwalker, King of the moon elves is traveling the universes seeking his Radiance, she who will mend his heart and save his people.
Ciana Walker never expected to be through into the magic world of the Goddesses, dragons, and mystical families.
Along the way she finds her mate, discovers things about her bloodline, and learns who her father is. Thorn must travel to an unknown land, fulfill a quest and secure his love.
Lots of twists, surprise, and secrets are revealed and unraveled that will change Dragon’s Gap.
The story does end on a cliffhanger and the author does have a not about it, but the series is complete so no issues with me. Thorn and Ciana’s story is nice and the overall story ARC is coming to a conclusion.

Ocean & Conor’s Story by L.M. Lacee
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
Ocean & Conor’s Story – Book 7 : The End
This concludes Dragon’s Gap and wraps up the overall ARC.
Ocean has had an arduous journey getting to Dragon’s Gap with three little girls. These girls are special and in desperate need of a mom and dad.
Conor is a lion shifter with amazing ability’s.
There are so many questions; like will Dragon’s Gap go to war, is there a traitor at Dragon’s Gap, will Frankie bring a family together, etc…
This installment had a lot of surprise reversal’s. It answers all our questions. The ending was happy. Though the conclusion wasn’t dramatic or very climatic.
I enjoyed the fantasy and sweet clean romance.

Thanks for sharing your reviews. Did it take a lot of effort to keep reading the series even though you had these issues? I would have had to start DNFing. I really don’t like to do that either. Glad you gave these a chance.

Sorry to hear that the writing was choppy and disjointed but I’m glad that the world-building and story ARC was able to pull you in and hold your attention. I’m kind of curious about this series now and I’ll have to give it a go! Great reviews!
