Angel’s Monthly Wrap Up ~ May 2023

Welcome To May’s Monthly Wrap Up

We had a few Cub Scout activities in May. We had a group hike at Mori Point in Pacific & the Weblos II got to visit the Blue Line which is our Trash and Recycling company.  We had an open house at our school and my kid showed off his work and classroom.

I started a new paint by number this month.  The Sacred Fish Tai!  I’ve been watching a lot of TV manly binging Law and Order on Hulu, so while that is going I’m painting.

Mother’s Day was nice.  My boys got me flowers and cooked for me.  I’ve been trying to walk every weekday more then I use too.  We have a treadmill and my desk goes up and down, so I can set that up and work on my computer or watch a show and by the time I finish an hour has gone bye.  I’m averaging anywhere from 8,000-10,000 steps a day now which is more than the 3,000-4,000.  I’m still playing EverQuest 1 each week.
Last, school is done this week and my kid will be leaving Elementary and going into Middle School after summer break.  Oh boy!

Reading is still very slow going.  I’ve slowed way down, but I did get a few books in this month: Witch With A Badge (DNF), Lead (3 Stars), Recruited (3.5 Stars), Miss Frost Ices the Imp ( 3 Stars), Grimoire of the Lamb – Audiobook (4 Stars)

Congratulations to all the winners this month!

  1. The painting looks amazing. I’ve been gone from online an socials for about a month due to “real life,” so I missed your the finished peacock, if you posted it. (Can you post an tag me if it’s not too much trouble, I’d love to see it). Sounds like a lovely May. Congrats on your guy finishing elementary school – so exciting! Thinks are starting to get a little back to normal, so I hope to be visiting more…

    • It’s always good to take a break from social media. I tagged you in the painting. Thanks for visiting!

  2. Neat activities with your kiddo. Love your paint by numbers work and way to go on your steps. I’ve been slowed down a bit on my reading and listening over this past month, too.

    Have a great June, Angela!

    • Thanks Sophia for visiting!

  3. I enjoy all the activities with family and children. I can’t believe your boy is going to middle school! Thanks for reading with us on the Read-along. I am so glad to be back walking with Lulu.

This month has had SO many projects. It’s coming to a close this week. I’ll be glad to have them finished, at least what we can finish. My reading is hanging in there but I’ve been struggling to keep up with reviews just because so much time on other things.

    • Life is changing. I know about the reading. It’s been hard for me for the past few years. I used to read and write so much more, but now I struggle on both. I really liked the novella for the The Iron Druid Chronicles series and plan to listen on. It was a lot of fun. I’m behind for the read-along, but trying ^_^. Thanks for visiting!
