6/6/2023 – If you could invite 5 authors (dead or alive) to dinner who would you invite?
I’d invite Ilona Andrews, Patricia Briggs, & Juliette Cross.
6/13/2023 – What’s most important in a book for you: the plot, the characters, or the writing style?
All three are equally important. I can’t just pick one. I like a nice blend and I find it best in Urban Fantasy reads. The one who does it best is the writing duo (husband & wife team) Ilona Andrews.
6/20/2023 – How do you get out of a reading slump?
Once COVID hit I hit a reading slump and I really haven’t gotten out of it. I have spurts of reading and then times I just can’t get into it. I don’t really get out of the slump. I just go with the flow. I do find revisiting titles I’ve loved and not thinking about reading for reviews helps. Just reading or listening to enjoy. Back to what it was before the blog.
6/27/2023 – What are your least favorite tropes?
I don’t like love triangles. I’ve also discovered I’m not a fan of the rejected mate trope.
I’d like to know your answer to the June TMST questions!

I like the authors you picked, re-reads are good for beating a slump, and amen to hated love triangles. Rejected mate trope has gotten on my nerve a few times especially with the ‘for your own good’ excuse.

Oh, thanks for playing along!
I agree about love triangles. It’s actually my least favorite and I forgot to mention it. Probably because I refuse to read them!
Great dinner guests, can I come too?

You are most welcome at my dinner party with these authors ^_^
Love triangles are my least favorite too that’s why it’s listed. I don’t get why authors have to add that aspect. I will pretty much DNF a love triangle and if the blurb even mentions it I don’t pick it up.
Thanks for visiting!
