The “unparalleled romantic adventure”* of Nalini Singh’s New York Times bestselling series continues as a new dawn begins for the Psy-Changeling world...

The Psy-Changeling world has undergone a staggering transformation and now stands at a crossroads. The Trinity Accord promises a new era of cooperation between disparate races and groups. It is a beacon of hope held together by many hands: Old enemies. New allies. Wary loners.

But a century of distrust and suspicion can’t be so easily forgotten and threatens to shatter Trinity from within at any moment. As rival members vie for dominance, chaos and evil gather in the shadows and a kidnapped woman’s cry for help washes up in San Francisco, while the Consortium turns its murderous gaze toward a child who is the embodiment of change, of love, of piercing hope: A child who is both Psy…and changeling.

To find the lost, protect the vulnerable—and save Trinity—no one can stand alone. This is a time of loyalty across divisions, of bonds woven into the heart and the soul, of heroes known and unknown standing back to back and holding the line. But is an allegiance of honor even possible with traitors lurking in their midst?

I’ve loved the Psy-Changeling series from the very first book and I do have my favorites. I like that I can pick up any of the books and become immersed all over again.

Allegiance of Honor was cleverly done. Ms. Singh has taken threads from fourteen books and woven them together into a story that is sensational and enchanting. It’s heartwarming to read about these characters I have come to love and a little sad at times. I was on the edge of my seat and my emotions where all over the place.

We get to revisit old favorites, go deeper into the BlackSea changelings, learn more about father Xavier (loved how this was done), and get a feel for the hops and dreams of all the different races (Psy, Changeling, Humans, The Forgotten.) We also get answers to many questions.

Allegiance of Honor is the changing of the guard. While one story arc ends a new one is made to move us forward. It was all masterfully done, had my emotions in turmoil, and it’s a roller-coaster ride unlike anything previously seen in this series!

Many interesting things happens in Allegiance of Honor. It’s phenomenal, sweet, and emotional. Fans will not want to miss out.

Rated: 4 Stars

  1. I cannot believe that I still haven’t read this author or this series. I really want to. I am so glad that this was a good one with a great ending.

    • I know how you feel. Everyone was telling me since the day I started raving about the Psy-Changling series that I need to pick up Nalini Singh’s Guild Hunter. It took me forever to get around to grading the series. I made it one of my 2016 new years resolutions to read the series. Thanks for stoping by and checking out my review.

  2. Father Xavier’s story was so good! There are so many ways we can go from here, I’m excited to see where she will start. Wasn’t the ending to this so fun?!
