Movie Review: Logan (2017)

Logan

What a major let down. I’ve enjoyed the Wolverine & X-Men series, but this one was bad.

The whole movie was a bunch of killing and violence. It makes for lots of action, but really it was too much; especially with a kid doing a lot of the  – stabbing. The movie was way to long for my linking and I couldn’t wait for it to end. I was also confused and didn’t understand where things where going with Logan, these kids, and Professor X. It was a little heartbreaking.

Hugh Jackman did a fine job in his role as Logan and so did Patrick Stewart for Professor X. They both are wonderful actors and play their roles perfectly.

I’m glad I didn’t buy or go see this in the theater. I’ve enjoyed some of the other Wolverine and X-Men movies, but this was a disappointment.

I borrowed this movie from the library.

  1. I never did want the X Men movies, and not sure if this one appealed to me or not. But I will be renting this one out, but it does sound like a let down though.

    • I’m an X-Men fan. I’ve liked all the ones released. I was curious going in to this, but soon lost interesting and was let down. I hope you enjoy.

  2. I think I did actually cry in this movie, but I didn’t find the story one that kept me interested. I was expecting more.

    • I did the same. I cried in spots, but it didn’t keep my interest and I was also expecting more.

  3. I’ve heard from tons of folks that say the same thing about it. Bummer it was a disappointment for fans.

    • I heard the same thing before I watched, but I still wanted to see it. X-Men I’m a fan, but it was a disappointment unfortunately.

  4. I watched this one On Demand a couple of weeks ago and thought the same thing.I thought that it could have been so much better.

    • I was not expecting what we got. I thought it could have been better. It was sad what happens to Professor X and Logan, didn’t see that ending coming for them.

  5. I have this one to try

    • Hope you enjoy it!

  6. Too bad,at least you got to see Hugh Jackman!!! Shared on my socials!

    • Ya, I like Hugh Jackman ^_^

  7. I saw this on my computer. It was not bad but I was expecting more I think. I have seen all the movies before hand and really enjoyed them. I cried for the professor and for Logan in the end. I was thinking I would see more about the future generations and how Logan was going to help them. I have to agree with your review. Although, I did not mind all the blood and death.

    • I thought Logan would be around to help the future generations, but ya I cried to for both the Professor X and Logan. I didn’t mind all the blood and death. I just thought was a little too much. I was just expecting more. I did enjoy Hugh and Patrick’s performances. They fight their parts perfectly and I’ve loved seeing them in all the X-Men movies.
