Day and Night Book Tag

Posted on by

I found this tag on Rantings of a Reading Addict and she found it on a Book Dragons who found it on Wattpad.

    • Do you read more in the morning or night? I read anytime of day. I don’t really have a preference. I just like to read whenever I can. I will say I get more reading done when my boy is off at school.
    •

      • Are there any books that changed the way you thought about things? Nope. I read mainly fantasy, urban fantasy, or paranormal romance. Nothing that makes me think deep thoughts. My life is busy and crazy so, when I read I just want to disappear.
      •

      • YA or not? I am not a fan of YA. I have a strong need to have romance in my books, and I don’t like a teenage angst.
      •

      • Are there characters that you honestly believe are real? Hahahaha
      •

      • Nobody touches my books or I don’t mind loaning my books out? No one touches my books. They are my precious precious books!
      •

      • Do you ever smell your books? Yes, yes I do. I love the smell of physical books. Besides petting the lovely covers.
      •

      • Not everyone loves books…is this a positive or negative? Negative! I don’t understand why people don’t read. Their is knowledge in read and great places to explore.
      •

      • Gosh I have too many books! True or False? False, well my hubby thinks I have to many books, but me I want more. I’d love to have a room stacked full of books. My own personal library would be cool. I’ve currently got three bookshelves full of books. I can always use more, but I have over the years moved to eBooks and only buy the physical when I know I’m going to read them over and over again.
      •

      • Have you ever spilled or stained books before with something, if so how? Noooooo. I hope it never happens to me. Cross my fingers!
      •

      • Toned or untoned? In other words, do you read and workout at the same time. Nope I don’t workout and read at the same time. I do take a walk around the block and may listen to a book, but that’s a short walk.

Now it’s your turn. I’d love to hear what your answers would be!

  1. It made me laugh when you said you don’t read books that make you think deep thoughts. Sometimes we all need a little escapism, right?

    • HeHeHe I get enough deep thoughts in my RL that I try to avoid it in my reading. All I want is to escape and relax.
Thank’s for stopping in and commenting. ^_^

  2. I’m the same on reading. Any time I can. Doesn’t matter what time of day if I can squeeze in a little reading I’m happy 🙂

    • Any reading time makes me happy. Thank’s for sharing and visiting!

  3. I’ll read YA, but I’m extremely picky about which ones I try. I don’t think you can never have too many books, though i don’t have a huge collection of physical books. Most of mine are audio. Fun book tag.

    • It was a fun tag. Ya, most of my books are eBooks not physical. For the longest time I didn’t have the space, now my hubby is like you have to many books and I’m like I only have 3 book cases and 1 is full of manga, so no I don’t. Thank’s for stopping in and sharing!

  4. Cool tag! I read YA, but I can’t read too many of them in a row. The teen angst gets too irritating for me.

    • Glad you liked the tag. YA has never been my jam. I’ve read a few, but the teen angst is just too much.
Thank’s for sharing and stopping in!

  5. I hear you about reading to just disappear. That is what I do now. I love the new worlds to explore!

  6. FUN!
I read all times of the day.
When I was younger, definitely, now it’s mostly escapism.
    Nope to YA.
I read contemporary and there are some characters who have very real traits and reactions/actions.
I have loaned out and several I never saw again. 🙁 Now I’m ebook and audiobook, so I really don’t have that issue.
I love going into a bookstore or library to get that smell!
My daughter hates to read, but it’s difficult for her. I keep encouraging her and hope she’ll enjoy someday. But it’s not for everyone.
I just wish I had my own room for all my books – I want a personal library. Then I’d love more books!
I’m sure I’ve spilled on a book; some of my older ones are in rough shape.
I used to read while working out at the gym, but now I walk outside and listen to my books.

    • Oh you answered them all. Thank’s for sharing. I used to have trouble read back when I was in middle and high school. I stopped for a while, read some manga (easier), then after collage I got hooked again and read was easier too for me by then. I think we all go in stages. Hopefully your daughter won’t full give it up. That’s great you encourage her.
      Have a great week!
