Hitting on the Hooker is book one in the Strathstow Sharksseries by Mina Carter. It’s a super quick read and hawt! Just the kind of thing for anyone’s lunch break. Don’t let the title fool ya. Hooker is a position on a Rugby team.
Fern is stood up for a date and just as she is to leave the hottie Tom approaches her. It was nice to see Tom have some insecurities about his physical appearance along with his leading lady. They are well matched and their chemistry is intense, which makes for some steamy hot sex. I will say I wish it was a full-length novel, but Ms. Carter knows how to write a novella that provides use with a story.
Hitting on the Hooker was a freebie on Amazon for me. This is the perfect quick read! I’m interested to read more in this series. I enjoyed Ms. Carter’s writing.
