Can an alien warrior who has given up hope find a new future with the woman and child who need him?

Joanna is snatched away from her peaceful academic life and sold to K’herr, a forbidding alien warlord. To her relief, he only wants her as a caretaker for his precocious daughter, Sultavi.

A year later, Lord K’herr is dead, and Joanna and Sultavi are on the run from his killers. Their only hope is to locate a down-on-his-luck mercenary who owes K’herr a debt of honor. Joanna doesn’t expect to find a massive green warrior with the saddest eyes she’s ever seen.

Craxan lost his family and his future in the great plague that decimated the Cire race. Since then, he’s led a hollow life using his warrior skills for anyone who can pay.

When the daughter of an old acquaintance appears, demanding his assistance, he reluctantly agrees to help her. But the delightful little girl - and the enchanting human female who accompanies her - quickly win him over.

He promises to take them to safety, but the more time he spends with them, the more he is convinced that they belong with him. He finally has a cause worth fighting for - but even if he can keep them safe from their enemies, what does a worn-out warrior have to offer?

Each book in the Treasured by the Alien series can be read as a standalone romance. This sweet and steamy HEA is intended for adults only.

The Nanny and the Alien Warrior by Honey Phillips

The Nanny and the Alien Warrior is book five in the Treasured by the Alien series by Honey Phillips & Bex McLynn. This title can be read as a standalone.

I adore returning to this world with its sweet lovable caring aliens, adorable children, and smart capable women. Each new installment brings me joy and something new to love.

Joanna, was sold to be a human nanny, but when the Lord is dead she and her ward must go into hiding.

Craxan, is a Cire warrior who lost his family in the great plague that decimated his race.

This is a sweet alien romance about found families and adoption. I was hooked on Joanna’s story and couldn’t put it down. She is an older heroine and I liked that about her. She dedicated her life to her career and never expected to have kids, but she adopts Sultavi as her own and adores that little girl. Craxan spent his life going from one job to another and never expected to find his mate, but he knows instantly that Joanna is his. He’s protective, but also caring. He was considerate and sweet to Joanna and Sultavi. I couldn’t help, but fall in love with him.

The attraction is instant; because they are fated, but their relationship is a slow-build. They don’t jump into bed, which I liked. The author gave them time to progress a relationship.

The Nanny and the Alien Warrior is a sweet and wonderful alien romance filled with family and love. I can’t wait to dive into the next book!
